Pearl Harbor, 74th Anniversary

Today marks the 74th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor that took place December 7th, 1941. We are honored to pay tribute to all those who died fulfilling their vows to protect. We thank all the servicemen, servicewomen, and others who were there that day, and those still there today.

“February 5th, 2015 – The guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) prepares to moor at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam following a seven-month deployment. Halsey and its crew of nearly 280 Sailors conducted various theater security operations and goodwill activities with partner nations. Halsey also participated in cooperation afloat readiness and training, building partnerships to increase stability in the Indo-Asia Pacific region, and provided as an escort to both Carl Vinson and George Washington Strike Groups during Valiant Shield and Keen Sword exercises.
