Waikiki Line Up

Famous for long lines of great waves for surfing, the only line in the water at Waikiki this day was the line up of surfers waiting and watching the horizon in hopes of a little swell.

This postcard-perfect picture captures many of the elements that make Waikiki one of the most toured beaches in the world–panoramic views of clear blue water, sunny skies, fun boats, surfers, sailing, and an endless horizon.

In the end, it was a pretty flat day and only a precious few waves rolled in for the surfers to ride. If you’re going to wait around for something though, in the water of Waikiki is one of the best places on the planet to do it.
