Mauna Kea Beach Relaxing

Aloha Friday! Nothing says Friday like relaxing at one of Hawaii’s most beautiful beaches–Mauna Kea. And nothing says relaxing like an ocean view with a beach umbrella.

Maua Kea beach fronts the private Mauna Kea Resort, offers plenty of sand, beautiful views, and relaxation. On a clear day, you can see the island of Maui to the northeast, and on a calm day you can enjoy swimming in the bay.

Access is limited to about the first 30 cars who make it to the ‘beach access parking’ in the resort parking lot. Or, if you’re up for a pleasant walk, you can stroll here from nearby Hapuna Beach State Park along the shoreline of sand and lava rock.
