Hawaii Bodyboarding at Sandys

Bodyboarding at Sandys, Hawaii

A grom charges down a chest high wave at Sandys on Oahu, a good boogie bording spot. As he kicks his feet to go faster, it becomes apparent that he will soon face a small crash zone of whitewater and the impending washing machine tumble that follows.

Local surf kids are known for their body’s amazing flexibility in such situations. They make it look so easy that many a newbie to the sport have ended up in less than 100% physical condition after attempting similar feats.
