Think Hawaii calendars, movie covers, or even 1980’s t-shirts and you’ll likely imagine a scene just like this one–saturated pink and purple hues at sunset shining through silhouetted palm trees. We think it is fantastic. And in a few moments from now…the fabled green flash.
We will get to experience around 30,000 sunsets in this lifetime if we are a little above average. Living in Hawaii can sometimes lull those of us lucky enough to live here to forget just how awesome each sunset (and day) is. This picture of a class Kaua’i sunset is a good reminder.
