Lahaina Maui has a couple of spots where one can find surfers nearly every day of the year. Just off the Lahaina pier is one such place.

Panorama of the Lahaina harbor area on Maui (hawaii, US) I walked out onto this rock pier and saw a girl just sitting there and watching the surfers.
With Lanai and Molokai in the background, watching surfers ride in on the small sets is a great way to spend some time. The ocean breeze blows throughout the day here and nearby shops and eateries offer a break from the sun.
