Fronting the Four Seasons Resort at Hualalai, is a gorgeous view of Waiakuhi and Kukio Bay on the Big Island of Hawaii. These two narrow strips of sand face northwest, giving spectacular sunset views all year long. See the full-size image here.
The sandy shores here are known not only for the Four Seasons, but also for seeing abundant numbers of green sea turtles. The shallow and rocky near-shore waters seem to attract sea turtles by the handful and we’ve never completed a visit here without seeing at least a couple.
Well-maintained sidewalks and ocean access makes this a comfortable walk and one of our favorite places to take a leisurely stroll.
