Palm trees stand tall and black against the last remaining light of day at the, “blue hour.” At this time of evening on Maui the winds are calm, the skies clear, and the trees appear as sentries guarding entrance to the darkening ocean.
Spots like this with little to no man-made light are a great reminder of what life was like on Hawaii in years past. The stars shine brightly above and the only thing to light your path was the moon and your torch.
