Secret Bay Big Island

There are a lot of “secret” spots in Hawaii and on the Big Island, and rightly so. Part of experiencing Hawaii is making discoveries on your own…finding beautiful secluded white and black rock beaches like this one based on only intuition, luck, or conversation.

This bay is rarely occupied and always fantastic–for playing, relaxing, or pondering life’s intricacies. With smooth lava stones the size of a fist, short coconut plams, refreshing and clear ocean water full of reef fish and turtles, it is no wonder this has been a favorite place for Hawaiian kings throughout the years.
