There are many waterfalls on Maui, particularly the northern and eastern shores. This idyllic waterfall and pool was ripe for these two to take a brief, cooling swim.
Most people find pools and waterfalls like this between the capital, Kahului, and the small fishing town of Hana.
Perhaps more challenging than finding and viewing the waterfalls is finding the parking to do so along the winding, narrow, shoulderless road–all attributes that make the scene that much more romantic.
