Manini Beach

Small but beautiful Manini beach stretches out toward Kealakekua Bay on the Kona side of the rugged Big Island.

Captured with a camera phone, it doesn’t take high resolution to see that this is a special place that anyone would be lucky to spend a little time.

This leads out to the deepest, most protected bay in the Hawaiian island chain. The water here is clear and filled with reef fish like the Yellow Tang, for which this area was given the moniker, “The Gold Coast.”
