Looking for some fun in the sun? Kapalua Bay Beach may be just what you’re looking for.
Kapalua Bay Beach is known by locals and visitors alike as a great place to bring the keiki (kids), get some sun, and do a little snorkeling. Kapalua beach is small but beautiful. Located on Maui’s northwestern side, it is more affected by winter swells than some spots, but the nearby island of Molokai and the beach’s positioning do keep it pretty well protected.
The beach is often crowded and parking can be sparse–prices you sometimes have to pay to be in paradise. Many would say that the snorkeling, the views, and resident turtle population make it worth the effort.
