This fun looking Raccoon Butterflyfish can be found abundantly on the Hawaiian reefs. This one was photographed at Kahalu’u Beach Park, a marine reserve in Kailua-Kona. Often times they are found in pairs or schools of up to 20 and can turn dark and blotchy if frightened.
