Ala Moana Double Rainbow

A beautiful double rainbow envelops downtown Honolulu from Ala Moana Beach Park on Hawaii’s island of Oahu. The “Aloha State” is known near and far for its rainbows, and not just because they adorn Hawaii license plates.

Thanks to generous rain and moisture throughout most of the islands, rainbows can be readily seen just about anywhere in Hawaii. Double rainbows though, are much less common, especially when framing the capitol.

Henry Aguilar (aka jhames808) started photography in 2009 as a hobby focusing on landscape and macro. A self-taught photographer who enjoys taking pictures on his free time.
