Maui Prayer Labyrinth

Zen Circle, Maui

A labyrinth laid out in a circle overlooks the north shore of Maui near the Nakalele blowhole at a spot known as Dragon’s Teeth.

Used for at least the last 3500 years, prayer labyrinths have been used in many religions throughout the world. They are also sometimes called “zen circles” or “meditation circles.” This maze at Dragon’s Teeth is new in the last 30 to 60 years.

  1. This labyrinth is inspired by mahabharata. In ancient india this epic battle took place 5000 yes ago which lasted 18 days and lot of technology was lost.on the 16 day in order to defeat pandvas(the good one’s), kaurva’s made this army formations (same exact drawing as this labyrinth). Nobody knows to break this except arjun,2nd brother in the 5 but kaurvas took him away. Intresting story!!!!!
