Since 1923, the yellow hibiscus–called Pua Aloalo–has been the flower of the Territory of Hawaii. Its beauty was appreciate long before then though, and continues to be loved throughout the world today.
Perhaps no other flower brings thoughts of Hawaii to mind more quickly than the hibiscus.
