Just ocean-side of Kilohana Drive between the towns of South Kihei and Wailea there is a long stretch of yellow sand beach that offers up stunning sunsets each evening.
Depending on the time of year, the sunset alternates disappearing behind the island of Kaho’olawe, the Pacific, or Lana’i.
In winter months this coastline is filled with spouting humpback whales. Throughout the year, if you are lucky you can see spinner dolphins making their way from resting to hunting. Anytime of the year, it is spectacular.
