Where can you see the sunrise from above the clouds in Hawaii? Believe it or not, you don’t have to be on an airplane.
If you can make it out of bed pre-dawn, into the car, and up to the summit, you can be blessed with a sunrise above the clouds atop the island of Maui on Haleakala.
You will have to brave the chilly temperatures that come with being in an inverted, dry climate at 10,000 feet above sea level, but we think it is worth it.
