Beautiful white plumeria spring forth from pink flower buds, adding even more colors to their palette.
This picture was taken near Kukio Bay on Hawaii’s Big Island. Plumeria in Hawaii seem adept at growing near shore as well as into the up-country to about 4,000 feet or more–everywhere it stays above 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
That means we are blessed throughout the islands from sea to hillside to the sight and smell of these flowers.
What is the name of that plumeria with pink buds but white flowers with hint of pink tip?
We are not sure of the species name. Does anyone else out there know?
