Most of us spend our time in Hawaii on shore or very near to it. A few lucky ones get to spend a good deal of time in deeper waters where you get glimpses of creatures like this.

Getting a picture of one this close up is a special treat.

“Yep, that is a BigFin Reef Squid, was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of it in 35ft of water with no real reef in sight. So this could possibly be a Cuddle fish, the verdict is out.”
