It is sometimes hard to tell where one thing ends and another begins. Here, on the north shore of Kauai at the end of the day, branches of a coastal tree blend silhouetted into rows of shaded clouds above during a spectacular yellow and blue sunset.
Kauai’s north shore is most known for its Na Pali, the giant green cliffs that plunge from hundreds of feet above to small, sandy beaches below. On either side of the pali, though, one can find flats like this between rivers with exceptional seaward views.
