Mauna Kea Beach Relaxing

A beautiful resort with a great beach, Mauna Kea Beach Resort lines up umbrella lounge chairs along the crescent-shaped shoreline each day.Looking somewhat like either a premium liquor commercial or a travel and tourism ad, the scene nevertheless says relaxation is at hand.
Like all beaches in Hawaii, the shoreline is open to resort guests and non-guests alike. Non-guests simply have to know the phrase, “beach access” and beat others to the available parking. Or, if visitors prefer a walk, Mauna Kea Beach is a pleasant (if a little rugged) mile walk north from the annually praised Hapuna Beach.
The resort itself has received architectural awards over the years for its unique design that fits in to the topography while standing out at the same time.
