Horizontal stripes of color reveal the Maui beach palette, from yellow sand to white shore break to ocean blues and cloud whites.
Beaches at Maui have the added benefit that neighboring islands are near enough to be seen on most days to the south and to the west. Having another island visible in the distance adds a sense of community and an exotic feel.
We could spend a few evenings here watching the sun set.
