Mana Kai Maui Resort

This Maui resort between Kihei and Wailea has an expansive, well-groomed grassy area that offers great views of both the mountain–Haleakala–and the ocean.

Looking to the mountain-side (mauka), one sees palm trees and keawe in the foreground and the 10,000+ foot peak in the background.

To the ocean-side (makai), one has views of Kahoolawe island and the Maui channel. This is a perfect spot to sip some wine and watch humpback whales breech and play with their young between January and April.
