Kailua Kona Bay on the Big Island of Hawaii has changed a lot in the last hundred years, but some things haven’t–it is still a magical place.
On this west side of the island, the sun rises over the volcanoes of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea. Morning clouds create rays of sun that highlight the bay below, casting across an historic steeple.
