Soft sunset colors reflect on the clouds and shine through the palm trees over this ocean-side pond on the Kohala coast of Hawaii’s Big Island. This picture was taken before the 2011 Tsunami that took much of the sand from this beach and connected the pond to the ocean at Anaeho’omalu Bay.
Since then the property line has been reclaimed by the state and resorts in the area with the addition of outside sand, restoring the ancient Hawaiian fishing pond.
