Rolling waves, shimmering water, tall shoreline grass and a glowing yellow sun are the perfect way to close out a day in Kipahulu near Hana, Maui.
Take a seat, poor a glass of wine and relax after the long winding drive to Maui’s greener south side. Nearby there is camping at the national park, beautiful waterfalls and a hike through a lush bamboo forest.
The ocean here on Maui’s north and east shores can is typically rough and most people are well-advised to enjoy it from the beaches and cliff sides created by the relentless swells that end their long journey here.
