Kauai Na Pali Color Palette
Photograph by Steve Nelson
Na Pali literally translated from Hawaiian means, “the cliffs”–an apt description for the 15-mile stretch of steep coastline on Kauai’s northwestern side.
If sturdy enough to make the hike, visitors are rewarded with stunning views. The color palette flows from light green to dark green to brown, and finally aquamarine.
At this elevation on the coast, clouds float gracefully by at the same level as onlookers, giving a true other-worldly feel.
