The beach sunset on this night at Kaua’i’s Grand Hyatt offered more pinks and purples than oranges and yellows. This resort and bay sits on Kauai’i’s dry southern coast in Poipu. Days on the leeward side of the island are much drier than on the windward, wet side. This has led to Poipu filling with hotels, resorts, and beautiful beaches with services. Although not on the ‘windward’ side, Poipu still sees quite a bit of wind, making ocean conditions variable for playing.
