Kapa’a's narrow beach is less visited by beach goers and therefore affords solitude and quietness.

The weather patterns here often mean clouds line the horizon, helping to create opportunities for great morning or ocean storm pictures. It can also be windy throughout the day on this side of Kauai, which windsurfers use to their advantage as the take to the ocean here in larger numbers.
