Kahili Falls are seen arched by a rainbow from a helicopter cruise over Kaua’i. The area is green from year-round rains that have created the lush valleys and numerous waterwalls. Kahili Falls are also called Five Sisters, although spotting all five can be tough. The top of the 5100-foot mountain that feeds these falls is thought to be the wettest spot in the world with over 460 inches of average rainfall each year.
These waterfalls are found on Kauai’s southern slopes on the central interior of the island. The great majority of people view and photograph these falls from the sky in helicopter tours of the island.
