A postcard perfect picture of sunrise on Maui’s Ka’anapali coast captures a calm morning ocean with palm trees leaning to the sea and Lana’i rising from the water in the distance. Ka’anapali is edged by long white sand beaches like this one with views to the west across the ‘Au’au Channel.
Views like this, fine weather, friendly company, and world-class resorts have made this beach, and Maui, a favorite of many. Even before the resorts and fame, though, Ka’anapali was a beautiful place, loved and respected by Hawaiians and their guests.
It is easy to imagine nice, easy days spent here relaxing in the shadows of the palms and Naupaka plants.
