There are a couple of bamboo forests in the Hana area and each of them are worth the walk. Once inside, you feel almost as if you are swimming in a green sea filled with shafts of light coming from above.

“Hiking through the bamboo forest is always a rewarding experience. I love listening to the bamboo as one hits another, clanking in the wind like one giant wind chime. This particular bamboo forest is located just outside Hana town on the east side of Maui. This forest is on the way to the famous ‘Waimoku falls’. Have you ever been here?”
