Kihei At Sunrise

Kihei Bay Sunrise

We are thankful for sunrises in Hawaii and over the warm Pacific.

Dawn breaks over Kihei, Maui revealing calm waters that are typically wind-blown throughout the day. Around sunrise and sunset, though, the weather is often still with glassy conditions.

This area also plays host to hundreds of Humpback whales during the Winter. The whales break the calm waters of morning with tail and pectoral slaps, spouting, and breaching.
