We have spent many hours gazing off into the Pacific horizon wondering the same things for our own lives. The vastness of the ocean seems to bring those kinds of thoughts to mind. And Hawaii can certainly facilitate a relaxed spirit and time to reflect.
Probably the honu is keeping it simple and thinking, “I should head to that reef on the left. It had great algae last week.”
