The sun is shaded as it sets in the Pacific at Anaeho’omalu Bay in Waikoloa on Hawaii’s Big Island. Reflections here are usually scattered by wind-blown surfaces, which add to the scene and make for some of the best kite surfing on the island.
This is a popular photo spot and the tree in the foreground can be seen from family photos to island brochures to nice work like this. The bay is home to outrigger canoe paddling teams, a few manta rays, and even a small surf break when the swell direction is right.
